Obituary for Dolores May "Dee" Tucker

Dolores May (Castro) Tucker, also known as ‘Dee’ for short, passed away peacefully Monday, November 25th, surrounded by her loving family, at the Skagit Valley Hospital. Dee lived happily at the CamBey Senior Apartments with many friends.

Dee grew up in California, where she met Larry E. Tucker, who was stationed there with the US Navy. They married on April 8, 1961, in California. They moved around the states before Larry left the Navy and settled in Washington State where they raised their family.

Dee is preceded in death by her husband, Larry E. Tucker; father, David Castro; mother, Grace (Webb) Castro; and a granddaughter, Linda Hope Tucker.

Dee is survived by her sisters, Doreen Brunswick and Kathleen McElearney; also 5 children: sons, Larry Robert ‘Bob’ Tucker, Daniel Thomas Tucker, and Steven Joel Tucker; daughters, Rhonda Lynn Tucker and Diana Louise Price; 14 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church in Coupeville, WA on Monday, December 2nd with a visitation at 9am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10am. There will be a potluck reception held at the CamBey Senior Apartments at 12pm following the service. Dee will be buried next to her husband, Larry E. Tucker, and granddaughter, Linda Hope Tucker, at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Ellensburg, WA on Wednesday, December 4th at 1pm.
